Fractional Robotics LLC is a privately held translational science company specializing in solving the hard science problems that can prevent an innovative idea from becoming a successful commercial product.

A key interest of our company is in the development of customized medical devices, parts or products intended that are personalized to fit an individual patient or small population of patients. We specialize in FDA regulated medical devices, but we also provide solutions to other disciplines ranging from agriculture and automotive industries to machine tooling.

We understand that only one missing piece will ruin a puzzle. Similarly the path to commercializing an innovative new product may be halted if a critical piece does not work or is missing. Our goal is to find that piece or even build a new one from scratch if necessary. Automation, negative feedback control and computing are the main tools we use for engineering solutions. We may provide a design or fabrication of a specialized actuator or sensor for a robotic system. Alternatively, our product may be to design of a clinical study that will answer a key question or provide a substantive answer based upon previously collected scientific evidence.

If you need help interpreting data, collecting data using automated equipment, or processing data, we may be able to help. If you need a mathematical or physical model to better communicate or understand how to approach a problem, we can build it. If you need a mechanical component that can only be reverse engineered from a broken preexisting part, we can build it. If you need a microprocessor controlled device that works autonomously or that you control over the internet, we can build that too.
